Terms and Conditions

SureTutor (formerly Advance Tuition Service Provider, since 2022)

Part A: Tutor Terms

  1. Eligibility: To be eligible to apply as a tutor, the applicant must submit their academic details for initial review. If shortlisted for a tuition, a second-step form (Stage 2) collects additional details and documents for verification (see "Information We Collect" in Part B).
  2. Demo Classes: Every tutor registered with SureTutor conducts one unpaid demo class for a guardian, as a condition of registration. The tutor and the guardian agree the demo time directly, at a time convenient to both, and the tutor informs SureTutor of the confirmed time and, after the demo, that it has been held. If the guardian does not wish to proceed with that tutor, the guardian must tell SureTutor by the end of the next day after the demo class. SureTutor will then arrange one replacement tutor, who also conducts one unpaid demo class. A guardian is therefore entitled to two unpaid demo classes, with two different tutors. If the guardian wants a demo class with a third or any further tutor, the guardian must first agree in writing (for example on WhatsApp) to pay that tutor directly for each demo class actually held, at a per-class rate calculated from the agreed monthly salary (monthly salary divided by the number of classes in a month). If the tuition goes ahead with that tutor, no payment is due for those demo classes. SureTutor does not collect or guarantee this payment, and the fee under clause 4 is unchanged. A class that does not take place because of the tutor (no-show, withdrawal or subject mismatch) is not payable and does not count as one of the two unpaid demo classes; a demo class the guardian misses without notice counts as held.
  3. Selection: A tutor is selected only if the guardian confirms the tuition after the demo class(es).
  4. Tuition Duration and Fees (First Month Only):
    • The fee is a percentage of the tutor's first month's salary, based on the duration agreed when the guardian confirms the tuition:
      • Three months or more: 50%.
      • Two months: 40%.
      • One month: 30%.
    • A month means about four weeks of the agreed classes (for example, 12 classes for a three-day-a-week tuition).
    • The fee is fixed by the duration agreed at confirmation. If the guardian later extends the tuition, the fee does not change.
    • The fee is due on the salary payment date. When the guardian confirms the tuition, the payment date is fixed as the date one month after the tuition starts (for example, if the tuition starts on the 10th, the payment date is the 10th of the next month). The tutor must pay the fee to SureTutor on the payment date, using the payment method SureTutor provides; if the first month's salary is received after the payment date, the fee is due on the day it is received. The tutor must inform SureTutor as soon as the salary is received. No fee is due at the time of confirmation.
  5. Commitment: Once the guardian confirms the tuition, the tutor must commit to at least one month of tuition.
  6. Conduct and Direct Arrangements: Tutors must behave respectfully toward guardians, students and SureTutor. A tutor must not arrange a tuition directly with a guardian introduced by SureTutor in order to avoid the fee. If this happens, the fee remains payable and SureTutor may suspend the tutor.
  7. Tutor Updates: The tutor must inform SureTutor (a) of the confirmed demo time, (b) after each demo class that it has been held, (c) with a final update after the third class of a tuition, including the agreed monthly salary and duration, after which the tuition is treated as confirmed, and (d) when the first month's salary is received. Until the fee under clause 4 has been paid, the tutor must also promptly inform SureTutor of important changes, such as the tuition stopping or the schedule changing. SureTutor may contact the tutor from time to time for tuition updates.

Part B: Information Collection and Privacy

  1. Purpose of Data Collection: We collect your information through our registration forms for the following purposes:
    • Storing your details as a CV for record-keeping.
    • Creating tutor profiles for guardians, including academic background.
    • Verifying tutors before their first tuition.
    • Communicating updates, inquiries and relevant information.
    • Sending occasional media-related content, such as updates and newsletters.
  2. Information We Collect:
    • At registration (Stage 1): name, gender, WhatsApp number, email address, Facebook profile link, current area, institution, department, year and semester, subjects and classes you can teach, medium, and a short note on your experience. Optionally, your latest result (CGPA) and your HSC college, year and GPA. We do not ask for your ID card at this stage.
    • If you are shortlisted for a specific tuition (Stage 2): your Unique ID, WhatsApp number, email address, present and permanent address, a parent or guardian's phone number (optional, for emergency contact only), and photos of your institution ID card (front and back), submitted through a second-step form for verification. For a specific tuition, further details may also be requested.
  3. Data Storage: We store your information securely and keep it for as long as needed for the purposes above, or until you request deletion. ID card photos and verification details are kept until you ask us to delete them.
  4. Use of Academic Information: We use your academic details to respond to guardian inquiries and to build tutor profiles.
  5. Contact and Communication: We use your contact details, mainly WhatsApp, to share your Unique ID, updates, inquiries, newsletters and information about our services.
  6. Your Copy of Shared Information: You may request a copy of the information you shared with us at any time.
  7. Data Access and Security: Your data is accessible only to people authorized by SureTutor and bound by confidentiality. We take reasonable steps to protect it against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure or destruction.
  8. Third-Party Sharing: We do not share your information with third parties without your consent, except as required by law or to protect our rights.
  9. Your Rights and Deletion: You may access, correct or delete your personal information at any time, and you may withdraw your consent to its processing. To do so, or to have your data removed from our records, contact us on WhatsApp at 01601019823 or at suretutor.online@gmail.com. We will promptly act on your request.
  10. Internal Records: We keep internal notes and ratings about tutors (for example responsiveness and guardian feedback) to match tutors to tuitions. We do not record religion or political views. You may request a copy of these on request.
  11. Guardian and Student Information: We keep a guardian's name, phone number, area and address, and the student's name, class and school or college, to arrange tuitions. A selected tutor receives only what is needed to arrange the tuition. With the guardian's consent, we may send occasional messages about our services (for example, before the next academic year) by WhatsApp or email. A guardian can ask us to stop at any time.

Part C: Partner (Referral) Programme

This part applies to anyone who refers a tuition to SureTutor ("Partner"), including registered tutors. A Partner accepts this part by sending a tuition referral to SureTutor after reading it.

  1. Successful Referral: A referral is successful only when the guardian, after the demo class(es), confirms the tutor and the tuition starts. A tuition request, a demo class or a tutor suggestion alone is not a successful referral.
  2. Partner's Share: The Partner receives 50% of the fee SureTutor actually collects from the tutor for that tuition under Part A, clause 4. The share is calculated on the fee collected, not on the tutor's salary. If the fee is reduced or refunded, the Partner's share is adjusted accordingly. For example, if the fee collected is BDT 2,500, the Partner's share is BDT 1,250.
  3. Payment: The share is paid only after SureTutor has received the fee. No advance or early payment is made.
  4. No Guarantee: SureTutor does not guarantee that a tutor will be found or that any referral will succeed. Accepting a tuition is the guardian's decision. If the guardian changes their mind, the tutor does not take the tuition, or the tuition does not start for any reason, no share is payable and SureTutor owes no compensation. On request, SureTutor will tell the Partner whether a referred tuition is ongoing, not started or ended.
  5. No Negotiation: A Partner has no authority to negotiate or promise fees, duration or commission to any tutor or guardian on behalf of SureTutor. The fee and the Partner's share follow only these terms and the agreed tuition duration.
  6. Duplicate Referrals: If more than one Partner refers the same tuition, the guardian's phone number is used to match them, and the first valid submission counts. A guardian already in SureTutor's records is not a new referral. Copied or false submissions are not eligible.
  7. Tutor-Partners: A registered tutor may also be a Partner. A tutor-Partner receives no share on a tuition they take themselves and gets no priority in tutor selection for tuitions they refer. Tutor selection is always done by SureTutor.
  8. Guardian Information: A Partner may use guardian information only for the referred tuition and must not share it with anyone else or use it for any other purpose.
  9. Partner Information: We collect a Partner's name, phone number and payment details only to record referrals and pay their share.

Part D: General

  1. Consent: By submitting your information, or by sending a referral as a Partner, you agree to these terms and consent to the collection, storage and use of your data as described above.
  2. Changes to these Terms: We may update these Terms and the Privacy Policy at any time. Changes take effect when posted on suretutor.online, and the "Last Update" date shows the current version. We may, but are not obliged to, notify you of changes through WhatsApp, email or our private group. A change does not alter the fee, payment date or demo terms of a tuition that the guardian confirmed before the change. If you do not agree with a change, you may stop using our services and ask us to delete your data. Continuing to use our services after a change means you accept it.
  3. Governing Law: These terms are governed by the laws of Bangladesh, and the courts of Bangladesh will resolve any disputes arising from them.
  4. Company Status: SureTutor is currently operating as an unregistered business and is working toward formal legal registration. We will update these terms when this is complete. Our commitment to service and data protection remains unchanged during this transition.
  5. Language: These Terms and the Privacy Policy are published in English, and the English version is the only binding version. Explanations in Bangla on our website, in messages or in group posts are summaries for convenience; if there is any difference, the English version prevails.

Last Update: 19/10/2026 (rev. 2). The latest version is always on this page. Please check it from time to time.
